Boys Registration for 2019 is open!

2019 AALA Boys Competitive Lacrosse Season – What to Expect

  • Registration is open now and closes in just two weeks on 2/12/2019 – register early!
  • AALA’s competitive season runs April 1 through June 16 (NOTE: this is NEW, AALA will not participate in a summer season with YLM)
  • League: GNL (Homegrown)
  • Teams will be formed at the following age groups 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U
  • GNL requires players to have an active US Lacrosse Membership ($30/year), you will need to have an active membership when you register for AALA
  • Weekday practices, weekend games (exception, there may be some weekday games in June)
  • Uniform provided – no uniform deposit required, players will keep uniform at year-end
  • Full Gear required to play (helmet, mouthguard, stick, pads, cleats)
  • Volunteer
    • 3 hours/family ($100 volunteer check deposit payable at open house); or
    • Buy-out of volunteering for $125 (must be paid during registration or at Open House)
  • AALA Registration Fees
    • 8U - $200 (includes 12 games & state tourney, 2 contacts/week)
    • 10U - $250 (includes 16 games & state tourney, 2-3 contacts/week)
    • 12U - $295 (includes 20 games & state tourney, 3-4 contacts/week)
    • 14U - $295 (includes 20 games & state tourney, 3-4 contacts/week)
  • Extended season play is encouraged and available through non-AALA Elite try-out teams (True, Froggy, Lacrosse Monkey, etc. 

 

Instructional Program

NEW for 2019 - AALA Boys In-House Instructional Lacrosse – What to Expect

  • Registration is open 3/1/2019-5/31/2019
  • AALA registration fee - $100
  • New or newer to lacrosse boys who have just completed K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade
  • 16 sessions, approx. 2 days/week of practices and in-house scrimmages on dates TBD between June 17 – August 9
  • Location: Prairie Knoll Park in Andover
  • All players will receive a jersey to keep
  • Full gear required (helmet, mouthguard, stick, pads, cleats).  Gear is not provided by AALA.
  • No requirement to join US Lacrosse
  • No volunteer requirements
  • This is a fun and non-competitive program focused on learning the rules and improving skills
