A USA Lacrosse Membership is required for our programs.  When registering, our system validates USA Lacrosse Memberships.  Please make sure your player's name, zip code and date of birth match what you used when signing up for your USA Lacrosse Membership.

Andover Area Lacrosse follows USA Lacrosse age and eligibility guidelines. There are scenarios where players may be grouped differently depending on numbers needed to field teams. Please contact the Girls Director with any questions.

For the 2024 season:

6U - birthdates between 9/1/2017 and 5/31/2019 (co-ed and clinic only, when offered)

8U - birthdates between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017

10U - birthdates between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015

12U - birthdates between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013

14U - birthdates between 9/1/2009 and 8/31/2011

18U - birthdates between 6/1/2004 and 8/31/2009

We are running a co-ed clinic for our youngest Huskies this summer! This will run concurrent with our girls practices on Thursday evenings to make it easier for those with siblings already there.

Focus will be on the basic skills of lacrosse (scooping, cradling, shooting) via small-area games, and low contact.

Logistics:

• 7 sessions - Thursdays between June 6 and July 25 (no lacrosse on July 4)
• Sunshine Park from 6pm-6:45pm 
• 6U birthdates between 9/1/2017- 5/31/2019
• Cost $30 (includes t-shirt)
• USA Lacrosse membership at $35 annually is required for all of our programs, in addition to session fees

Equipment:

• We will be using soft or tennis balls for this clinic
• We have starter lacrosse sticks available to borrow if you don't have your own
• Mouth guards are required
• Gloves of any type are suggested but not required (lacrosse, hockey, simple winter style)

We plan to run teams this Summer for 18U, 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U. Minimum team sizes must be met in order to fulfill teams, if they are not met, we will not be able to field a team. So please spread the word!

Registration will close on May 24, and we are not able to allow exceptions beyond that date.

Summer season runs from June 3 to July 24 for all levels. 

State Tournament dates:

• All levels are the weekend of July 26-28

Summer practices and games: 

• Mon/Wed/Thu for 8U and 10U
• Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu for 12U, 14U and 18U

There are no Friday or weekend activities outside the State Tournament dates noted above. Practices and home games will be held at Sunshine Park.
