A USA Lacrosse Membership is required for our programs.  When registering, our system validates USA Lacrosse Memberships.  Please make sure your player's name, zip code and date of birth match what you used when signing up for your USA Lacrosse Membership.

Andover Area Lacrosse follows USA Lacrosse age and eligibility guidelines. There are scenarios where players may be grouped differently depending on numbers needed to field teams. Please contact the Boys Director with any questions.

For the 2024 season:

6U - birthdates between 9/1/2017 and 5/31/2019 (co-ed and clinic only, when offered)

8U - birthdates between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017

10U - birthdates between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015

12U - birthdates between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013

14U - birthdates between 9/1/2009 and 8/31/2011

We are offering two Try Lacrosse for Free sessions:

• May 13 and May 14 from 5:30pm-7pm at Prairie Knoll Park
• Birth years 2018 and older welcome

Coaches will work with new players on basic skills such as:

• Scooping ground balls
• Shooting
• Passing
• Catching

If your player has a stick please bring it, else we will have several to borrow during the clinic dates. We will be using soft or tennis balls during this clinic.

We are working on a potential 6U co-ed clinic offering for this summer (June-July). Details to come. If you are interested in a clinic for this age level please reach out to Pete McGowan at the below link as that will help us with our planning.

We plan to run teams this Summer for 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U. Minimum team sizes must be met in order to fulfill teams, if they are not met, we will not be able to field a team. So please spread the word!

Registration will close on May 15, and we are not able to allow exceptions beyond that date.

Summer season runs from June 10-July 24 for all boys levels. 

State Tournament dates:

• 8U and 10U is July 20 in Delano
• 12U and 14U is July 27-28 in Delano

Summer practices and games are held Monday-Thursday. There are no Friday or weekend activities outside the State Tournament dates noted above.
