2026 Boys Summer Registration

Andover Area Lacrosse follows USA Lacrosse age and eligibility guidelines. There are scenarios where players may be grouped differently depending on numbers needed to field teams. Please contact the Boys Director with any questions.

Please follow the below process if you would like to request approval for your player to move up or down playing levels.

• Submit waiver request email to the Boys Director for approval
• Include the following information in the email:
• Player name
• Birthdate
• Reason for waiver request (e.g. to play with grade-level peers)
• Upon approval, a promo code will be sent to each individual being waived for the season.
• Register as you would according to the US Lacrosse age guidelines and enter the promo code at checkout.
• Player will be rostered on the waived level

Note that the board may proactively request players to move levels in order to right-size rosters.

For the 2026 season:

6U - birthdates between 9/1/2019 and 5/31/2021 (co-ed and clinic only, when offered)

8U - birthdates between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2019

10U - birthdates between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017

12U - birthdates between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015

14U - birthdates between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013

*Note USA Lacrosse requires age verification (e.g. via birth certificate submittal) for all programming.

Summer Regular Season: Monday, June 8 – Wednesday, July 22, 2026 (Wednesday, July 15th for 6/8/10U)

• No games on Fridays or Thursday July 2
• 12/14U generally played on Tue/Thur
• 6/8/10U generally played on Mon/Wed
• 6U games are still played in doubleheader jamboree format on weeknights (games are shorter)

Teams primarily play single games on weeknights but doubleheaders will be scheduled upon requests when able. 

Practices are held at both Andover High School and Prairie Knoll. Games during the spring will be at different host sites around the metro.

Team practices will be twice per week on days opposite of games. There are no weekend games outside of the end of season tournement,

Uniforms are provided for each player by the association. A designated uniform pick up date and time will be communicated with each team.

End of Season Joint Boys & Girls 6-8U Jamboree/10U Tournament & 12/14U State Tournament

Summer Youth State Tournaments/Jamborees:

6-8U Jamboree: Sat July 18 @ Delano HS

10U Tournament: Sat July 18-19, 2026 @ Delano HS

12/14U: Fri-Sun, July 24-26, 2026 @ White Bear Lake North Campus

6U & 8U will be played in jamboree format with 3 games.

10/12/14U will play a four-game guarantee with a championship game.
