About the 6U Co-Ed Program
Our 6U co-ed program is the perfect way for kids to try something new, make friends, and have fun while learning the basics of lacrosse in a safe, supportive environment.
No Experience Necessary
This program is designed for first-time players, and all skill levels are welcome.
Focus on Fun
We teach fundamental skills through games and activities kids love.
Awesome Coaches
Our coaches are passionate about helping young athletes learn and grow. Players will be led by program coordinator and current Andover High School Lacrosse players.
Ages
Our 6u clinic is for kids with birth dates from September 2019-August 2021 which would generally cover kids in K & Pre-K.
Andover Area Lacrosse follows USA Lacrosse age and eligibility guidelines.
When
Practices will be from 6:00pm-6:45pm Thursdays beginning June 4th - July 23rd. No clinic on July 2nd.
Where
Our clinic will be held at Sunshine park on the far South Field. There is a small parking lot on that side of the park.

Cost
6U clinic fee is $50.
Your player will be provided a Clinic T-Shirt on the first day.
USA Lacrosse Membership & Age Verification
A $35 USA Lacrosse membership is required for Clinic participation. This annual fee includes insurance, equipment discounts, Lacrosse Magazine. To verify age and correct level placement, parents may be asked to upload their child's birth certificate when registering or renewing a USA Lacrosse membership.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do players need prior lacrosse experience?
No experience is needed! This clinic is designed for beginners and focuses on learning the fundamentals in a fun environment.
What equipment is required?
Players should bring a lacrosse stick, wear athletic clothes and shoes, and have a water bottle and mouth guard. (Sticks available to use if your player does not have their own.)
Is this clinic competitive?
Not at all. The focus is on fun, learning basic skills, and building confidence.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes! Parents are welcome to stay and watch during the clinic.
What if my child has never played sports before?
That’s perfectly fine. This clinic is a great introduction to sports and teamwork.
What happens if there is bad weather?
You will be notified of any cancellations or schedule changes due to weather.
